Abstract

The miniaturization of high recording density optical disc drives (ODDs) like BD enables them to be adopted to the portable devices like camcorder, digital camera, portable game player and mp3 player, and the related researches were reported [1,2], In these topics, the miniaturization of the optical pickup is the key issue because it is impossible to make a miniaturized ODD without the miniaturization of the optical pickup.
