Abstract

HD DVD - R disc: High density DVD recordable disc for blue laser system (15GB / DVD - R size) has been produced in the current DVD - R mass - production line with the only two changing items of a disc stamper and an organic dye. More than 1500000 times excellent readout stability was achieved by using the new dye with low - to - high recording polarity.
