Application of Nonlinear Minimum Mean Square Error Equalization for Holographic Data Storage

Abstract

We present a novel and simple-to-implement nonlinear equalization approach for holographic data storage systems. Our results show that the proposed approach significantly outperforms the linear approach in terms of minimum mean square error as well as bit error rate.
