Three dimensional shape retrieval of in-flow Red Blood Cells by digital holography

Abstract

we describe a powerful method to retrieve the full three-dimensional (3D) morphometry of Red Blood Cells (RBCs), flowing in a microfluidic channel, by implementing on a chip platform for optical trapping and holographic imaging.
