Abstract

Concentration dependent scattering coefficients μs are measured using transmission optical coherence tomography (OCT). Good agreement between the measurements and a dependent scattering model, based on the Percus-Yevick radial distribution, is observed. The obtained concentration dependent μs and scattering anisotropy g are used in a fit of the backscattering OCT signal with the extended Huygens-Fresnel model and good agreement is observed.
