Manipulation of an Optical/plasma Filament Propagating in Atmosphere Using Quantum Molecular Alignment Wakes

Abstract

An ultrafast pulse filaments in atmosphere and is injected into a quantum molecular alignment wake following a previous filament. The second filament can be enhanced or destroyed, depending on the phase of alignment it encounters.
