Generation of Vectorial Light Beams using Space-Variant Subwavelength Gratings at 1064 nm

Abstract

The generation of vectorial beams at 1064 nm by the use of polarization transformer devices consisting of space-variant subwavelength gratings (SGs) is demonstrated experimentally. We discuss using such beams for plasmonic nanofocusing applications.
