Abstract
In many applications such as atomic clocks or atomic inertial sensors, one needs to have a laser cooling apparatus that is transportable, reliable and insensitive to environmental perturbations. However today, the laser system generally used in laser cooling experiments does not meet those requirements. In this paper, we propose a new fibered laser system for rubidium laser cooling in onboard experiments. The system is based on the frequency doubling of a telecom fiber bench at 1560 nm.
