Polarized light emission excited by surface plasmon polariton in nano metal-gap structures

Abstract

TM polarized light emission is observed in thin metal -gap structures with organic luminescent materials. The polarization mechanisms are discussed by mode calculatio ns of surface plasmon polariton in 2 and 3 dielectric/negative dielectric interfaces.
