Abstract

Interactions between intense ultraviolet laser pulse and organic solutions induce not only normal photophysical and photochemical relaxation processes but also transient macroscopic morphological changes; laser ablation. This phenomenon is nonlinear with respect to laser fluence and observed only above its threshold, Fth.
