Abstract

Recently intensity-dependent polarization rotation in a medium with quadratic nonlinearity was demonstrated in a KTP crystal [1]. This process where two orthogonally polarized fundamental frequency (FF) waves interact with the second harmonic (SH) wave is described by the normalized equations [2]
