Abstract
Recently increased interest in metal nanoparticle films (MNPFs) as artificial optical media has grown up. Resonances of localized surface plasma oscillations in the particles strongly depend on the shape, orientation and interaction strength of the nanoparticles. Thus, by nanodesign of that film morphology parameters the film’s optical properties can be widely tuned.
