Abstract
Raman heterodyne spectroscopy1 is a three-wave mixing scheme used to detect optically magnetic dipole transitions in ionic solids. When used in time domain experiments,2 it is important to know the influence of the optical field on the measured coherence lifetimes to determine resolution limits.
