Abstract

A new formalism for the description of nonlinear optical interaction of broadband laser radiation has been applied to the forward stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) of a noise pump in dispersive media. This formalism is based on the method of successive approximations for a Gaussian complex random process in which the Markovian approximation serves as a first step.
