Design studies of the MIT 194-A nickellike molybdenum laser

Abstract

The soft x-ray research effort at MIT is presently centered around the design of a nickellike molybdenum collisonal laser based on the 4d—4p transition. Preliminary calculations show that the steady state gain front the nickellike molybdenum sequence is negligible.1
