Abstract
Resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization (REMPl) spectroscopy has already been widely accepted by the laser chemical physics community as an ultrasensitive and incisive tool in studying the structure of excited molecules and their dynamic behaviors. Although single color REMPI can be employed to tackle a great number of molecular species, 2-color REMPI or optical-optical double resonance MPI (00DR-MPI) is an even more potent tool due to both higher sensitivity and stricter selection rules for a double resonance transition.
