Abstract
Solution dye lasers with a bleaching wave (LBW)1-5 have attracted attention of investigators by their potential ability to be developed in scalable pulse-repetition dye lasers with average power exceeding 1 kW level5. An important parameter of LBW is the changing rate of the excited substance determined by the travelling speed of the laser zone in active medium. For laser zone width of 1 cm and for wave speed of 1 km/s the exchange time is 10 μs, resulting in steady-state character of the dye laser action4-5.
