Abstract

Various concepts for electromagnetic wiggler (EM-wiggler) have been proposed to generate short wavelength radiations with an electron beam of a few MeV[1~5]. High power IR lasers (CO2 or glass laser), gyrotron and high power submillimeter FEL are the candidates for radiation source of EM wiggler.
