Abstract
A double-resonance process involving a fast predissociating molecular species as the intermediate state is shown to be essentially a two-color simultaneous multiphoton process that has seldom been dealt with. In this paper, OODR-MPI studies via such a predissociating state have proved to be not only feasible but an incisive tool for uncovering hidden spectroscopic information on both the upper electronic states and the predissociative species itself.
