Broadband Design of Silicon Photonics Four-Mode (de)Multiplexer by Wavefront Matching Method

Abstract

A broadband silicon-based four-mode multiplexer is designed by a wavefront matching method. The crosstalk is suppressed for all modes in wide bandwidth and the transmission spectra becomes very flat compared with those of conventional design.
