Automatic Tuning of Hitless Add-Drop Filter Array Based on Microrings

Abstract

By labeling channels with a small amplitude modulation we demonstrate the automated tuning and locking of hitless silicon microring resonator filters in a multichannel WDM system, enabling applications as reconfigurable add-drop multiplexer.
