Fundamental Limits to Graphene Plasmonics

Abstract

We investigate, for the first time, propagating plasmons in high mobility graphene at cryogenic temperatures. The intrinsic plasmon propagation length in these samples can exceed 10 micrometers thus enabling new experiments and applications.
