Magneto-Optical Nonreciprocal Devices for Silicon Photonics

Abstract

We have investigated magneto-optical nonreciprocal devices for silicon photonics. A waveguide optical isolator and circulator are fabricated by use of direct bonding technique. Wide bandwidth and temperature insensitive operations are explained.
