Ultracompact and Broadband Strip-to-Slot Mode Converter Using Subwavelength Gratings

Abstract

An ultracompact and broadband subwavelength grating based strip-to-slot mode converter is proposed and analyzed. The device length of ~4.3 m is achieved with an ultra-wide wavelength range from O to U bands.
