Simultaneous detection of multiple trace chemical species using quantum cascade laser sensing in the mid-infrared region

Abstract

We show sensitive detection of methane, nitrous oxide and water-vapor using quantum cascade laser based spectroscopy systems. The technique is based on direct absorption and wavelength modulation spectroscopy to resolve and enhance sensitivity.
