Feedback Control of Silicon Microrings by Non-Invasive Photonic Probe

Abstract

We show wavelength tuning, locking, and swapping of thermally tuned silicon microrings assisted by a non-invasive light monitor integrated in the resonator. Closed-loop wavelength stabilization is achieved in a 150 ms time scale.
