Circular Bragg Grating Reflector Suitable for Integration with Narrow Silicon Nanowires

Abstract

We propose a deeply etched curved Bragg grating on a 460nm-wide silicon nanowire and demonstrate its potential to help achieve reflectivity of above 0.99 over a 362nm bandwidth through 2D FDTD simulation.
