Efficiency Improvement in Ultrathin Plasmonic Organic Bulk Heterojunction Solar Cells

Abstract

Au NP plasmonic effect enhances light absorption and thus the efficiency of organic BHJ solar cells. Using an optimized 20% surface coverage of Au NPs followed by only 50nm of P3HT: PCBM increases the efficiency by 30%.
