Waveguide arrays in diffusive photopolymers

Abstract

We describe two methods, liquid deposition photolithography and holographic lithography, for fabricating two-dimensional arrays of optical waveguides with high channel counts. Both methods rely on refractive index patterning via monomer diffusion in photosensitive polymers.
