Destructive Interference of Dark Resonances in a Room Temperature Tripod System

Abstract

We explore the response of a tripod system in 4He* under excitation by perpendicularly polarized pump and probe beams in the presence of a transverse magnetic field. Destructively interfering dark resonances are observed and interpreted.
