Compact and widely wavelength tunable lasers based on flexible polymer Bragg reflection waveguide

Abstract

Widely tuning and reproducible operation of tunable laser is demonstrated based on the extraordinary elastic property of flexible polymeric Bragg reflector. Compact tunable laser package is also demonstrated by incorporating a small PZT actuator.
