Nano-Optomechanical Photonic Circuits Based on Light Forces

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We describe novel functionalities in photonics enabled by incorporating nanomechanics and light-force actuation, and their application in data communication, from ultra-wide resonator tuning to all-optical feedback control that may alleviate fundamental problems in integrated nanophotonics.
