Experimental and Theoretical Study of Refractive Indices of Wurtzite GaN Thin Film from Visible to Infrared

Abstract

The refractive indices of a GaN thin film were measured over a wide wavelength range, which included fiber-optic communication windows. The measured results agree well with a theoretical computation by empirical pseudopotential method.
