Birefringence Measurement of Integrated Optical Waveguides for Optical Beam Forming Network

Abstract

A novel integrated optical waveguide is experimentally evaluated using a microwave-modulated optical wave. The results show that the optical waveguide has a high birefringence and birefringence dis- persion at 1.55 μm
