A Novel Beat Noise Reduction Method for AOTF

Abstract

We solved the problem of beat noise, which is the most significant problem in AOTFs, by introducing a basic principle using our acoustic beat averaging method and confirmed that it enables the application of AOTF in real OADM systems with sub-nano-meter channel spacing.
