A COMPACT INTEGRATED PHASAR-BASED OPTICAL CROSSCONNECT ON InP

Abstract

We report the first InP-based integrated optical crossconnect. The device can crossconnect signals at four wavelengths independently from two input fibers to two output fibers. Total on-chip loss is less than 16 dB. Device size is 7×9 mm2.
