Abstract

We report a photonic circuit on InP integrating a filter for dense WDM, an optical pre-amplifier and a fast photodetector on the same chip. The circuit demonstrates WDM filtering with 8Å bandwidth and 24 dB rejection ratio, and 3 dB net gain.
