Eu3+ doped polymers for optical amplification

Abstract

Eu3+ doped NOA polymers have been synthesized and characterized optically. Optical amplification at 612nm wavelength has been demonstrated, and a signal enhancement of ~18.3dB has been measured for a 5mm long device.
