Abstract

Wavelength-scale and high-Q photonic crystal resonators made in various materials (Si, Si<sup>3</sup>N<sup>4</sup>, III-Vs) will be discussed. Their application in novel single-photon sources, as well as for nonlinear wavelength conversion at single-photon level, will be presented.
