Multimode Waveguide-Cavity Integrated Optics for Sensors Based on Fringe Visibility Detection

Abstract

We demonstrate a sensor platform based on fringe visibility detection of the interaction of a two-mode waveguide coupled to a ring cavity. Glucose solution yields a fringe visibility change of 1.57 per weight percent.
