Tunable Optical Dispersion Compensator Using a Hybrid-Lens Structure in an Arrayed-Waveguide Grating

Abstract

A tunable optical dispersion compensator using a hybrid-lens structure in an arrayed-waveguide grating is proposed. The total dispersion can be controlled from −115 ps/nm to +182 ps/nm with a temperature change of 55 °C.
