Slow Light in Quantum Dot Semiconductor Laser for Photonic RF Phase Shifter

Abstract

We demonstrate a phase shifter based on slow light in a quantum dot vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser. The phase change with the frequency ranging from 10 to 20 GHz is achieved.
