Polarization Beam Splitter Based on Internal Coupled Rods in a Square-Lattice Photonic Crystal

Abstract

We design a polarization splitter by combining a photonic crystal waveguide and a group of internal polarization selective rods to separate polarizations. The performance of the splitter is demonstrated and investigated by studying key indicators.
