Terabit all optical sampling OFDM system

Abstract

A novel all-optical sampling orthogonal frequency division multiplexing scheme is proposed and demonstrated. 1Tb/s AOS-OFDM signal with spectral efficiency of 3.07bit/s/Hz is transmitted over an 80km SMF link with optical Fourier transform filters.
