Hartmann Method for Measuring Surface Shape of the Cornea of the Human Eye

Abstract

Non-contact methods for for measuring external surface shape of the cornea of the human eye was proposed. This method is based on modified Hartman screen method with side illumination scheme where a narrow collimated beam is reflected from the profile of a cornea.
