Challenges Using Optical Plastic Materials for the Development of Consumer Products

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We will discuss several aspects of optical plastic materials and the design limits driven by injection molding as both are important to find the best compromise between performance and cost for the optical design of consumer products. And we take a look at upcoming technologies interesting for design improvements.
