Optical design of off-axis astronomical telescope based on freeform surfaces

Abstract

Optical design of a sky-survey telescope is presented, which is 2m aperture, 28m focal length, 1.72 deg2 FOV. In order to achieve wide field-of-view and high performance, off-axis Cook TMA with freeform surfaces is adopted.
