XRX-Köhler Optical Design and System Optimization

Abstract

We present multiple optical design embodiments of a dish-based concentration photovoltaic (CPV) system utilizing Köhler illumination. Spectral optimization, opto-mechanical tolerancing, prototype development, and on-sun field validation are presented showing good agreement with the illumination model.
