Infrared Fabry-Perot Spectrometer Design, Optimization and Simulation

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

This paper describes design of an infrared Fabry-Perot spectrometer (FPS). Parameters that affect FPS signal-to-noise ratio such as reflectivity, absorption, scattering and surface flatness are analyzed. Single vs. Double Cavities trade-off is discussed.
