Distinguishability of Hyper-Entangled Bell States by Linear Evolution and Local Measurement

Abstract

For two identical particles entangled in n two-state variables, we show that, of the 4n hyper-entangled Bell states, 2n+1-1 can be distinguished using linear evolution and local measurement. This result generalizes previous results for n =1,2.
